3rd Grade Retention Notice
The Perry County School System has started the process to bill Medicaid for health-related services. If your child has an IEP, IHP, or IFSP the school system is allowed to seek reimbursement from TennCare. You will never be charged for therapy services your child receives in the school system. It does not affect services that your child may receive outside of school. This will allow the school system to receive more funds to provide services. If your child has an IEP, IHP, or IFSP expect a letter soon explaining this process. We will need parents to fill out forms and send them back to school. If you have any questions about this process please call Jennifer Richardson, Special Education Supervisor 931-589-2102.
